Faking? Could be, I suppose, but if you watch carefully, it seems like the sound, both keyboard and vocal, is a little out of sync with the video. Whether or not that's a dead giveaway of faking is hard to say.

What's nice about it though, is that he doesn't have all the bells and whistles going - the minimalist approach, if you will and, to me, it sounds the better for it on a nicely chorded song like Overjoyed.

Any idea what keyboard that is?

Just had a quick look at that Route 66 video (thanks, Luis). It also seems to suffer from the same sync problem as the Overjoyed guy.

That's right... I also noticed that "out of sync" problem on both videos.
