Hi folks,
need some help here.Everytime I sing with psr2000, regardless of whether vocal harmony or effect is set to on,it always give out that irritating sound, mostly humming sound, sometimes even very sharp feedback.
The mic level knob behind the keyboard is only turned to midpoint.
Mic volume on LCD display is about 70.
I am not using any other instrument or amp.
I use a Samson S11 cardioid mic, place about 50cm(20 inches) away from the speakers.
what can I do to solve this problem?

Thank Q

Turn the Mic gain pod to "No More" then the 9'Oclock postion....then increase the gain on your amps. I hope your using a qualit Mic also.

Turn the input down and the Mic Volume up. I had mine set at 110 on the PSR2100 and I use the same setting on the Tyros (default on Tyros is 85).
A lower setting means you must increase the input volume (knob on the back). This adds noise and can cause the mic to easily overdrive and distort.
