This may be off topic but I thought you might be interested in what I have to say about Ketron and A.J.

When I purchased my Midjay I was one of the first on the forum to do so, there was not even a complete manual. I was told by A.J. that it would be loaded with all the extras, when it arrived there was not one thing extra except maybe Italian folk songs which are of no use to a Louisiana Red Neck. Later Don Mason ordered a Midjay and at the same time I added to his order a harmonizer. Several months after Don’s order came in I got my chip but to my surprise all the instructions are in Italian. Don E-Mailed A J for instructions in English two weeks ago but they still have not arrived. Not a good way to do business. If anyone would like a loaded Midjay with controller case( http://www.samash.com/catalog/showitem.a...ortMethod=4&Sea rchPhrase=case&Contains=%2Acase%2A&Search_Type=SEARCH&GroupCode= ) and 25 note controller it's for sale. I can get a keyboard and better service at Sam's club.

It's true. I emailed AJ about the installation instructions for the harmonizer and he replied that he had forwarded my email to Bell Duovox.
That was May 12 and I haven't heard a word.

DonM,

As I had told you, once I got the manual from Bell, I would pass it on to you. Until date, we are still getting manuals in Italian, but the source of the mistake is from Italy and not Bell.

I had also asked that you contact Bell directly so they can mail to you (directly) the English version once that was made available.

Thanks,

AJ

AJ,
Here's the copy of the email exchange between you and me. You did not ask me to contact Bell.

Don,

I am copying this Email to Bell Douvox (US distributor of Ketron) so they can get you an English installation manual for your recently-ordered Midijay Vocalizer.

Lou.

Please assist this cutomer with English installation text for the midijay Vocalizer (see email below).

Thanks,

AJ

A.J, I received the Vocal Harmonizer for Hank's Midjay, but the instructions
are in Italian. Do you have English instructions?

I did email Lou at Bell Duovox. He phoned me today and was extremely nice and helpful. It seems the English instructions WERE included all along, just mixed in with the other languages where they were hard to see.
Thanks to Lou for his help. No thanks to anyone else involved.

FWIW, my own personal experience... I've dealt with Lou, AJ, and John Deep of Ketron. All were congenial and in every case very helpful. I've heard others give high praise to one on one experiences with Ketron folks.
