What styles or software can I use with my roland va-5. Can I use the same styles as you use for the g-1000, em2000 ??
Where to buy good software.(styles,midifiles, midifiles with the scores....)

so you have finally bought your VA5!
The VA5 and the VA7 are able to read the G1000/EM2000 styles. A good place to download styles is the Roland Arranger Group site: http://www.daytonamusic.com/rag/download.htm

Alain...Give your self time to find your way around the VA5......It is easy to become frustrated with a new board. I have had an EM2000 for six months and I am still find new things most days. In play a friends VA7 every week and the only fault I can find is it ideally requires a SCREEN HOLD facility.
The VA will pay you back dividends with its excellent voicing. Good playing and let us hear how you are getting on with it.

Dreamer is correct the VA will load G1000 Styles, but take note that it will select the G1000\EM2000 voice patches, which are still very good, but the VA have a newer Voice Sample Bank, so use these if you decide to save any downloaded Styles to Zip and make up a new 128 Registrations.

they have a lot of infos and also converted styles for Roland keyboards.
