I wan't to buy new PSR-3000 for our church,at present we are having PSR-740 (made in Japan) and is working well without any problem.Now i'm looking for the new PSR-3000(Japan make) but the dealers informed me that there is no production from japan.Is it true? In India,the new psr-3000 keyboards available are made in Indonasia,malaysia etc.So which country make psr-3000 keyboard is good to buy?are there any Japan made PSR-3000 keyboards available?

Both of mine were made in Indionesia and I've never had a problem with them.

Mine is also made in Indonesia. There is nothing wrong since the 2 years I had it except when I accidentally dropped it during transport which caused something like $500 repair fee. A good sturdy case would have helped which now I own.

I believe all PSR-3000 are assembled/made in Indonesia.

It enables Yamaha to keep the price down, as labour is less expensive than in Japan.

I've had great service from mine which is 2 years old and played at least 4-5 hours a day.

Terrific instrument.
