I'm sure this is old hat for most of you, but I've never had the pleasure of owning TWO full keyboards before, both with MIDI cap.

We have "rock" gig next week - Should I attempt to "control" my psr 2100 thru the dgx??

I don't have a lot of experience here, but I do know it can be done, and the sounds on my new psr are much better.

I am playing/singing with a guitarist who is good, does main vocals AND good guitar.

I appreciate the input, newbie here with two boards!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I would prefer to have them NOT midied, but if you really prefer the touch or size of one, it is simple enough to use it as a controller.

Assuming you want to use the DGX to trigger play the PSR, you require one Midilead Midi-OUT DGX to Midi-In PSR. You can of course bring the volume up on the DGX to mix in its sounds with the PSR if you wish.
Give it a try you can't do any harm to either board. Some combinations can work and sound very well.

I think it's worth a try - I do like the 76 box style keys on the dgx.

I'll let you know how it sounds when I get it set up.

Thanks for the help, as always!
