How many of us almost went into another vocation..

I took several Drafting and art courses in high school and excelled in both[A averages]. The summer before continuing University education..I talked with the defunct Bond bread as a design artist..Designing labels and packaging[art wise].. I also talked with ATT [mechanical drawing]. ATT offered me the job [$60 a week..summer of 61].. At the time I was making $40 a DAY in the construction field and decided it would be better for me....The ATT thing probably would have advanced quickly, but I am sure as it turned out in my life...I can not work for a company..I needed to be my own boss..Sink or Swim... From this period in time till today I have balanced my Construction work[daytime] and Music [nite time]..It has worked great and I think I made the right decision a long time ago..

Fran: Didn't you and Uncle Dave operate a music store together at one time too?
