Greetings music lovers and even those on the other end of the scale Not on this Forum, right? At least I hope not!

Unless we have some trolls that just want to cause trouble and wreck havoc and could care less about Music in general. Sound familiar??

Well I've got something I just can't pass up to share with all of our SZ Members. I found some absolutely fantastic Midi files and I am really excited about sharing them with the group. These are from Tada!!---Yamaha; and they are extremely well done. They are actually XG GM midi's so a little tweaking may be required to get the best sound from your Keyboard. I've listened to several and I had to stop what I was doing and let you all know about them right now because they are that good.

The Genre's run the gamit from Bigband to Flamenco, to Jazz, Dance, Hiphop, Classical, Techno and even Science Fiction Movie Sound Tracks. Some of the Midi's are very short in length but a lot are very expansive in content and length.

Many of you may already have these but the first couple of dozen I've listened to were all new to me.

I found them accidentally through doing a product search query on Yamaha's web site.

Any whooo, enjoy them! I know I am. NOTE: This link will immediately start the download: http://www.yamaha.com/yamahavgn/Product_Media/Keyboards/MIDI/XG_MIDI.exe

Best regards,
Mike

They make my PSR 2000 and Yamaha MSP5's really shine! Bravissimo! Yamaha!

Mike,
Thanks there were a couple of very good styles in there. Where on their site did you find these, if I may ask?
