Cant wait to hear Don M's opinion since he just got the G70 & will be able to try the new OS to compare with the old OS....

I downloaded it, but haven't installed it. I wonder why Roland U.S. doesn't have it on their site yet?

Thanks Niels for that superb demo of OS 3.0 on the Roland G70.

The Guitars sound heavenly! This should have been the level of sophistication and calibration when the G70 was launched initially. Roland would have captured the market.

And yes, one more thing – they should have released the G70 at a street price of $3000 and should have sold it through the regular MI channel along with their XV, XT synths and workstations.

It is never too late to correct the past mistakes.

I love your style of music Niels. You make everything sound so soothing and serene.

this is a real improvement on the clarity of sound and definition on of the instruments that was clearly present on the g70 promotional demo video but was not present on the actual ready tp purchase old G70. Has anyone considered taking legal action against Roland for misrepresntation and the time /cost that so many purchasers had to spend tweaking the instrument to sound how it should have sounded from the outset and how it sounds now with oS version 3 ?
