I need to expand my Yamaha 9000 Pro RAM. The specs are simple, "16-bit bus (NOT 32 bit), 70 nanoseconds or faster, 18 or less chips per SIMM, with-pariety and EDO DRAM OK, and in pairs". However, I keep reading posts from people who have followed these guidelines and still wind up with SIMMs that do not work in their keyboards. I found a possible source for 9000 SIMMs at datamem.com/simms but am not sure which set to
order. I read the specifications in my owner's manual but can't seem
to relate that to the info as listed on Data Memory's web site. Any
ideas?
Thanks,
Deaton

Deaton,

Please refer to my post dated 1-8-2001 02:26 PM on Yamaha PSR9000 SIMMs for more information and strategy to get the right SIMMs that work. Yamaha PSR9000 and 9000Pro use the same SIMMs.
