I guess it depends on the market. There's a guy here in Lexington (my repairman and a long-time friend) who makes his living, traveling the countryside, buys old B-s and refurbishes them. He's gotten as much as $10,000 for a pristine one.
I was offered $7500.00 for the B I keep at a local country club.
I now have a B-3, a C, an M100 and an old M. The only one of value. is the B. I got the C from a church that bought it new. 6 months later a member bought the church a Rogers. The thing is pristine (includes one cabinet-not a Leslie) and sat in the basement/warehouse for about 15 years. Would probably get $1000.00 or less, even in this condition.
The only ones of real value are B's, but man I love old Hammonds!
