Just finished watching the Ravens/Steelers game, which the Ravens won in overtime. While Jamal Lewis did not manage to beat the all time rushing record, he got within just over 40 yards. What an incredible feat. Now it's off to the playoffs next Saturday. Can the Super-Bowl be somewhere just over the horizon? What a night!

Cheers from an excited old man,

Gary

Gary I had the same feeling with the Packards today. Arizona beat the Vikings. I couldn't believe it. Everytime Bret completes a pass it seems he breaks a record.

The Broncos are the dummest team in football. Shanahan tried this save all your players from getting hurt in the last couple of games in 1996 and they lost in the first round to Jacksonville. I wouldn't be surprised if it happens again.

At this time of the season you have to give it all you've got, and hope for the best. You can't hold back. It's a killer. All the guys cool off. Shanahan wouldn't make a pimple on a good coach's butt.

He won the Super Bowl with Elway and 96% of the team was Dan Reeves guys. After Elway and others retired, the Bronco's have been mediocre at best.

They really blow this Shanahan up in Colorado. I think he should do what he does best. Be an assistant coach.

I have 3 favorite teams I like the same. The Saints, the Packers and the Redskins, and I still don't get to the play-offs sometimes. I don't see how someone can live and die with one team. I would have had a heart attack a long time ago.

Don't be surprised if "The Pack Is Back" Bret with a broken thum and all. We still have Ahmad Green. I wish they'd put some sticky glue on those stupid arm bands he wears.

No more dynasties! Today, anybody can win. Look at last years champs. They are today's chumps.

Aw Boo.....it's all about the HOME TEAM, my friend ! Don't you remember pep rallies in HS? You HAVE to root, root, root for the home team, like the song says.

Picking a team for anything other than locale is just wrong.

Dave, I was a Greenbay fan in New Orleans before the Saints existed. Then I had to go with the Saints too when they started in 1967.

Myself and the bartender where I hustled nine ball were the only two people in New Orleans that liked Billy Kilmer the quarterback at that time. All the Saint's fans booed the guy when going and coming off the field. Then they traded him along with Doug Atkins to the Redskins. So, then I had to be a Redshinks fan also.

The Redskins became the "Over The Hill Gang" and went to the Super Bowl and gained many more fans in the process. George Allen and the Over The Hill Gang beat teams with players that were younger then some of the Redskins kids.

Others have tried to get all experienced older players since then, but it's never worked like it did for George Allen.
