Are these the "Real Drums" from Band-In-A- Box 2007? If they are then they sound better than the actual demos on PG Music's web site in my opinion.

Best regards,
Mike

PS: It's not really much of a hassle to download Kevin. Just scroll down and click the "Free" account, wait a little while for the count down and enter the security characters and that's it. >> Although the file IS quite large at over 17 megs.

If you don't have a high speed connection then, yes, I would say Forgetaboutit!. Or unless you don't mind waiting a while because the Drums really do sound very good. >> Now the question is: "What are these Real Drums we're hearing?" Fill us in if you would abacus.

Bill: Thanks for taking time to put the demo together. They sound great. Especially the brushes.

Real Drums are actual real sampled drum riffs that Wersi recorded for their OAS instruments, they are not from Band-In-A-Box. They were recorded using pro players in a very nice studio. Real Drums is one of the features that makes the Wersi such a nice instrument.

Look in Real Drums collection and listen the demo too...

Hi,
actually vers 10 of BIAB uses "real" sampled drum riffs as well for some of it's styles, jazz brush styles, latin percussion etc etc . A recent new feature they've included. Megapak version comes with gigabytes of drum loops for use with BIAB.

SD1+ can play sampled drum loops also,
( synced to style ). Haven't had a chance to try if BIAB's audio loops can be converted for use with my sd.

Haven't had a chance to listen to the Wersi demo yet, but use of real drums sure makes a difference.

best wishes
Rikki

Hello Lionstracs
The Real Drums are part of the style section and so come with full orchestrated backings, (As I was showcasing the drums, the backings were turned off) this is why they are done in a studio.
Also they were introduced at the same time as the OAS instruments were released, (almost 7 years ago) when most of the software you mention was not available
Why scrap a quality feature on later versions?

Bill
