Please could you tell us if there is any current development going on with the X1?
There was a "wish list" from X1 users posted on the Forum recently, where many improvements were requested.

Just to summarise:
- Making FLASH CARD more reliable
- Possible expansion of 16MB RAM
- Introduction of "Rootless cord recognition" already seen in SD-1
- Software, which would allow users to make their mix of sounds from sound libraries
Etc ...etc ...

Nobody from Ketron support even replied to this topic.
Therefore I would like to hear from you if we could expect any new OS for X1 soon, or we simply gave too much credit to Ketron after they reacted very quickly on similar request related to SD-1.

I do read through most post refering to Ketron products and attempt to reply promptly to those addressed to my attention. I have seen the 'wish list' and we have already started working on implementing some of those requests mentioned in a later OS. However, due to on-board memory limitations, we will not be able to impliment all the features requested - which is why some of these features have been implemented on later models. There is still ongoing software development with regards to adding features and a better OS for the X, SD1 and XD series, so rest assured some of the requests listed on this forum (and by our other customers) will be met within the later OS releases.
