That Barquito is the best instrumental I have heard on SZ.. The guitar work sounds like you used a midi guitar to play the part..Is there a guitar mode on the Tyros2 ,I am not aware of?

Manuel: Loved your polished sounding T2 rendition of "Little Boat (Barquito)", one of my personal Jobim favs. I assume this song was produced exclusively on the Tyros2 alone, utilizing the T2 sequencer and playing the SA guitar & sax parts live on the Tyros2 kb in 'auto accomp' mode, right? If so, beautifully executed and performed. Hope you might share production & recording details. My only wish is that your songs were available in a far less compressed format, such as 192kbps or greater, as 64kbps not only compromises the fidelity, but severely reduced your original 'playing expression' which I know gets lost (as quantization) due to the extreme compression. Manuel: Looking forward to hearing more terrific music from such a talented musician as yourself.
Manuel, congratulations for your rendition of "O barquinho/El barquito/Little boat" by Roberto Menescal. Beautifully arranged and played! I didn't know the other tune ("Monsters") but enjoyed it as well. Felicitaciones!

Andrea: Oops sorry. Thanks for the correction. You're right. This one was NOT written by Jobim.
Strangely enough, my The REAL Vocal Book "Fakebook", as evidenced above, incorrectly(?!) credits Imo Schmortz, not Roberto Menesacal, for this tune. So much for fakebook accuracy. - Scott
