I've been seeing this come up alot in forums, is this the benchmark Midi program, I personally would love to have Performer make a windows version, I think that is probably the easiest program to do anything with, but it only comes in MAC.

Basic drag and drop, program changes, SMF 1 to 0, stuff like that?

I'm not sure what you mean when you say it only comes in Mac. I've been using GNMIDI for Windows for some time and I can highly recommend it. I didn't even know they made a Mac version.

Chris,
Please elaborate what can be done with the gnMIDI program and especially what you do with it. Cake allows to save a midi in format 1 or 0.

How much? Where to get it?

Thats right! I swear by GNMidi. That thing has saved my life once. I had to chain about 20 midis and styles together and I could think of any way to do it. And then I put up a post here and some1 suggested GNMidi to me. I chained the midis in a matter of minutes. Very easy to do and so many more functions. 3 Cheers GNMidi

I've used it for several years, practically since it first came out. Gunter Nagler (GN)
is very helpful and the program is well worth the small price.
