Hello,
I am a new member of this community and also a new and proud owner of a Korg Pa50. I have been searching for african rhythm styles all over but in vain. Does anybody here have an idea where i can find some? OR a hint on how i can create my own.

Thanx..

Wow good luck on finding those styles I myself tried finding some not too long ago. They make specific versions of keyboards such as oriental versions, and boards also now include arabic drum kits. I haven't seen anything with African drums and styles. It would be great to get some. Does the PA-50 offer a sampling as an option? I know the PA-60 did, but not sure if it was carried over to the 50 or dropped. If you can edit your drum kits on the PA-50 I would suggest editing them and try to get as close to the instruments you're seeking. Then listen to African music and try to duplicate it with the style recorder. I remember trying this with my old PSR-550. Boy how I failed at that one My first year of college my roomie was from South Africa. I ran my attempt past him and in less than 2 seconds I knew I was way off. Gave him a good laugh though. If you find any please let me know.

No.both PA 50 and 60(YES 60)don't have sampling option.only PA 80 does.PA 60 has HD and video out option only and no harmonizer option like 80 either.PA 50 has none of those above.

Here are some MIDI Rhythm Files online that may be good for you to build on.
