That's a great price. Were they new or used and how long ago?

Hi Peter

They were used very little for around a year it seems to me. I got them maybe 2 years ago. The guys girlfriend listed them and didn't know what she was doing. Watch for auctions that are listed by people that don't really know how to sell.

On items like this I will request to talk to the seller by phone. I have had no problems buying or selling on ebay. I also bought a new PSR2000 a few years ago for $715 plus shipping.

You need to keep your eyes and ears open though. There are kooks out there as in all places.

Best of luck.

I know several SZ members have used Behringer PA heads and/or Peavey PR15 speakers with excellent reviews.

I'm sure the PR15's sound great, but I never tested them because of their large size. Much bigger than I wanted, although rather light in weight. The JBL's and the PR12's easily fit into the trunk of my car.

I thought the Behringer PMH880S were powered speakers. When I clicked on the link you sent I see it's a powered mixer.
I'm not gonna go that route now in fact I recently sold, through ebay, a powered mixer. I think I wanna go with powered speakers now.

Along with this question, would anyone have an opinion if these speakers would sound decent with a PSR2100? (for home use) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...ogitechSpeakers

The price is nice.

Thanks,
Larry

HI LARRY,

I am using a set of Logitech Z2300, plugged into the new Tyros 2 just for playing in the studio. They are really great. I think they could be used in a small venue without a problem. I am using about 10 % of the volume available. The woofer really kicks butt.

I saw them on sale at Best Buy this weekend for 149.00. Heck of a deal.
