Hello All,
Does anyone know anything about this piano? I have seen one for sale at a reasonable price. I have long wanted a 'ensemble' type piano to replace my old Technics px7. I believe the CVP96 was / is one of the higher end of the clavinova range?

If I buy this I can't get the 9000PRO I was thinking of but could possibly get me a PSR2000 so that I have something 'portable' as well. I like the idea of a full keyboard with weighted keys, in fact I often play my 6000 from the PX7 via midi just so that I have the full keyboard.

Any info would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Tony

The CVP96 was new about 4 years ago and was finished in a shiny rosewood . When new the cvp96 sold for around $4700.00 US .

It also came with Yamaha's educational light guide system + I believe it's GM compatable.

If I had this piano at my store , I would be selling it for around $1600.00 to $2200.00 .

Thanks Dano,
I did not realise it was quite that old! I have done a bit of searching various websites and have read as much as is out there I think
I might go audition it now see what it is like to play!
Thanks again
Tony
