For a long time I have been using an auxillary SCSI drive to hold some songs and styles and programed performance memories to access them off that drive. Now that my internal SCSI ZIP drive is working again (thanks to Fran) I would like to have those performance memories reference the tape in the G1000 internal ZIP drive, but I don't remember how to do that, does anyone know?

Tom,

I have never tried accessing styles from an external ZIP drive. I would first want to check if simply changing the SCSI device id to the internal drive (and putting the ZIP disk in) will work.

If it does not, I think you may have to re-program your perf. memories one by one.

This would be the type of question that one should be able to ask tech support at Roland - but I don't know if there is such an organization that will communicate with individual users.

Good luck,
Alex
