Hi!
How is the vocal harmony on the PSR 2100 comparable to the one on the PSR 740. I used the VH on my PSR 740 for a couple of professional performances but gave it up the moment I started using a dedicated MIXER-AMP and mics. Could the VH on the 2100 be used professionally. Is the MIC preamp better than the 740..becos 740 sucks big time in that dept.
Thanx
Sunny

It's WORLDS ahead. The 740 did not even register as a useable harmonizer for a pro perfronace. The 2k started a new trend in useble, affordable harmony...although I still prefer outboard gear - I CAN use the internal unit in small situations. The sound itself is very good, the control and tolerances are what stays behind the Digitech/TC pack. You'll love it. Good luck, Sunny.

Sunny,

The 2100's harmonizer can be used for professional performances, and IMO sound nearly as good as some outboard devices. It does not have the rich, full sound of the Digitech Vocalist VR, but it's close enough for most venues.

Cheers,

Gary
