Got the upcoming listprice for the Roland E-80 in Sweden today from a well known musicinstrumentdealer!

Sigh......40390 SEK or 4389 EUR or US$ 5445! In my dreams the E-80 should be cheeper than the G70 but no no no....Keep dreaming, Mats...zzzzzz

At that price they should have included an XLR input w/phantom power, and a built in VS or BR recorder (8 track). With the same VGA out that the VS line has.

Then I'd buy it. No questions asked!!!

I found out today that the E series will be sold here in the USA by the CK division, as is the G70. I also found out that we won't see them for quite some time due to the fact that the style choices were considered more acceptable for the European market and needs some different catagories to appeal to the US market. I have to find out more and then I will report back.

Yea, I wonder. Last year I bought myself a Yamaha CVP 307 Clavinova for just over $5000.

It's not portable and can't gig with it. But it has a graded hammer action and there are 2 killer pianos, one that sounds like a Steinway Grand and the other like a Yamaha grand. It also makes my wife happy cuz it's a nice piece of furniture.

What will the E50 go for? It says 749 with a funny L in front of that amount. What exchange is that?
