Well, I like pretty much everything that sounds good.
From Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, BEATLES to Dire Straits and U2.

From the electronic stuff...
Definitely Tangerine Dream, a bit of Kraftwerk, almost everything by Depeche Mode, some cyber rock (or "industrial" as they wanna call it)...Skinny Puppy, Doubting Thomas (Infedel andsome reset stuff), Nine inch naills (I don't like "Pretty hate machine though - it's kinda gay comparing to his other stuff)....and whatever else that's weird and cool.
I also like early stuff by "The Orb" and system 7 (when Steve Hillage was still with them.) "Blue Room" is still one of my favorites.

Marissa is true talent AND art. Her CD is only $1000, so it must be the real deal. She only charges $50,000 for a gig, although she has removed that part from the webpage. She only performs for appreciative crowds. Having glass bottles crash into your forehead too frequently can put pressure on any artist to up the fee. Paying hospital bills and so on can get costly.

Certain type of wood is sesitive to humidity (high humidity or lack of it). The oil protects the wood from drying up, or...the opposite. I have to do it every six months or so. Keeps me busy, 'cause nowadays I have about 15 guitars.

That's why I like synths - all they need is a battery replacement about every...thousand years !

Talking about sex changes, almost as serious is a change of hobbies. I'm thinking about getting this (see below) for my Canon EOS DSLR camera. The thing is, it's almost as much as the Clavia G2 and I can't have both.

Photography has sucked me in big time. I was thinking about getting a real camera years ago and now I finally did it. Economically it's a disaster, making music and getting proper photo equipment.


The Canon EF 100-400mm zoom lens with image stabilizer. (if you look hard you can see my drool in there)

Ed: If the two of you can get along great. But me personnaly I prefer living buy myself. Only because I can't stand living with anyone else. After 28 years of living with my parents and two years and three months living with a cousin. I realise how much I enjoy the piece and quiet and the fact that I can come and go as I please. That and the fact I am a horrible roomate and I will probably kill whoever lived with me or I would kill myslef.

Seriously though, that's a lot of lens there. would you use it that often? or realistically travel with it? How about a telescope with a camera mount. Last time I bought a telephoto for my Nikon autofocus (not one of the cheesy ones but, a good one) I realized that I didn't use the big dubebee of a lens that often enough to justify the money I spent on it However I will say one thing, it really performs well.
Professional automatic cameras perform so well these days that if you leave it on and put it in a box and fire the shutter remote, it will take a pic of the inside of the box it's in and the photo will be awesome quality too!

I have one 18-55mm lens and a cheap 75-300mm. I don't see myself carrying a tripod around, so what I could use is something with an image stabilizer. Canon also has the 28-135mm with IS and that's probably what I'll end up getting. It's not an 'L' lens like the 100-400, so it's fairly affordable.

Also, Morph, with the Canon EOS 300D there's a factor of x1.6. Something about the image sensor, so that 400mm is really a...640mm!

Now that winter NAMM draws near, I remember back in the 80's when I was a happening guy, I puffed a doob with one of the ZZ Top Models (the one w/ the pink fuzzies) in a room I rented (probably the fastest I had ever rented a room BTW) and she did the tube steak boogie. (Of course Dixie was about old enough to be in a stroller at that time)

For lyrical inspiration:
Stephen Curtis Chapman, Michael W. Smith, Twila Paris, DC Talk, The Newsboys, Jars Of Clay, Caedmon's Call, David Crowder, Tim Hughes, Matt Redman, etc, and many many hymns.

I really like the sound of Rhodes, wurlys, FM and various pianos. B3's, Strings and pads, and acoustic guitar.

I might add that Frank Zappa and Rush have also been an inspiration to me. Rush for sounding so unusual and complex (at least for the time) and Frankie Zappa for...Hmmm...well ever since "Bobby brown goes down" and "Catholic Girls". I don't throw a party without the two songs. Takes me right back to R&R days . Just me an old fender w cheasy spring and my TL, and all the cheap thrills that came with it! OH yeah! Didn't get to do any chearleaders though...All I get is female vocalists.
