For what you want the Casio will not satisfy your needs.... Especially in the sound department... Most of the sounds on the WK1800 were just carried over from the CTK series... Only a few of those sounds were taken from Casio's flagship MZ-2000.. There are only 6 tracks for recording, plus when recording style you cannot loop or overdub in style recording mode either... The only plus I see with the WK is better action, and 76 keys. As far as sound quality and features the WK-1800 pales in comparison to the PA-80/60 and the PSR-1000/2000, Oh when I say better action I'm comparing that to the PSR line up.. If I were you I'd take the PA series or the PSR series... The WK-1800 really wouldn't suit your needs.. Granted it probably would make a nice 76 key controller...
