My sort story for today begins like that.
This afternoon went to my bank and took the exact amount of(1000 euro). Then i drove to my local dealer of music instruments for buying my beloved YAMAHA PSR 1500, after a lot of thinking and trying the instrument.
For my surprise when i got there i shaw a KORG pa50 above the psr 1500, (the last 4 times that i went there it wasn't,but today yes).

conclusion

4 ours later, infront of me is big box of a KORG pa-50.
I don't know guys if i made the right choise but my hart, my ears and my fingers were telling me to do so. I haven't opened it yet.....and now it's the time.

p.s from now and then i will be breaking the b..... to pa-50 owners for info

First of all, congrats in your purchase!!, and if you want to know, I own a Tyros2 (before it was a PSR 3000), and also a Korg PA60 (almost the same of the PA50), well, besides performing live, I also work at a retail store in Phoenix AZ, needless to say, I am an Arranger specialist there. We have the Yamaha, Korg and Roland arrangers (I wish we carried Ketron too), well, the Korg PA 50 outsells the PSR 1500 14 to 1....and, for the money, you can not go wrong, the PSR 3000 has another story, but then, another price range.
We sell in the $1,000.00 price range the PA 50 by far, more than the PSR 1500, in the $700.00 price range in arranger 61 keys keyboards, the Roland GW7 is the winner.
Again, congrats, you made an excelent choice.

The Korg is the only instrument I had second thoughts about before I bought the Tyros 2. I Feel you made a good choice.

Thank you mdorantes and bruno123!!
I must say that i didn't sleep all night trying the instrument. WOW for this kind of money i did get a taste of a pa1x....
Now my only concern is how i can manage to store my work. As you all know the pa-50 doesn't have an internal hard drive, and i am mot thinking of using the disks as a storage device....but i can use my laptop for doing that as an external sequencer.

The only problem is that i am not very familiar with tecnology so i would be very greatfull if someone could tell me based on his proper experience the right steps.
I have a laptop with the internal sound card.....and thats it.

Best regards

I have both PSR3000 & KORG PA50 and at half price the PA is a great board and value. The OS is easy to use once given a little time to find your way around it. PA50 has 4 assignable PADS I use them to switch style parts ON & OFF. Surprisingly to me I find I am now playing the Korg more than the 3K. The PA appears to have more body to the voices and the Synth Pad sounds are very good.
