Quick question! How do you get a sampler to do a machine-gun speed roll? I am using a S2000. Is there a quick formula?

if you are using a sequencer like cubase, then open up the key edit window that allows you draw in notes with the mouse and then draw in on the appropriate key the amount of hits you would like to hear during the drum roll. Another way of achieving a drum roll is by setting a loop within the sample edit menu of the akai, so when you press and hold the key on your keyboard the akai will continually play in quick sucsession the drum sound.
