I've got a feeling that if you didn't like the G70 after a few weeks, you are going to find the E80 similar in several ways (the sound is a BIT different, but the OS is essentially unchanged) and the weight is even higher! There are only a few more styles than the G70 you tried (they are good, but not earth-shatteringly better than the G70 ROM styles), and a couple of new OS features, with text-to-styles being the only one I fell REALLY useful...

Given your habit of trying arrangers out, and then going back to your familiar PSR3k, personally, I wouldn't trade in your main axe until you are SURE this is it.....

I'm curious..., what is the average going price for a new E-80?

Hi Donny Diki is right. If you didn't get on with the G70 then you will NOT like the E80 at all (plus it's heavy to keep carrying about all the time). Save your money or at least make sure you spend a few hours with an E80 before parting with your cash.

E80 in the UK goes for around £1800-£2000 new which when converted to dollars is $3570 upwards.

My hunch is Donny has (2) 3000s

After doing 5 gigs this weekend and 5 more in the next 2 days, I'm glad I have the 3000 - it's perfect in every way and the audience absolutely loves it.
