Lexicon MPX200, TC Electronic M-300, Yamaha REV500 or even the new Alesis AKIRA?
I need a good and reliable effects processor, mainly for live use but also for studio use.
The effects processor will be used almost only for reverb on vocals. I really need to know what's the best Reverb on these units. Lexicon MPX200 is very poor on editing functions...
Anyone here is using a Lexicon MPX200 or a TC Electronic M-300? I would really appreciate some input on these two units, as well as another options...
Thanks in advance.

I have a better option for you. when I moved my studio to my new place ... I had to dow-size it just a bit, and I have one reverb too many. It's a mint (in the box) Lexicon MPX500 ..... more presets and more adjustable than the 200. It's your's for $250 shipped anywhere.

I can only comment on the TC Electronic M-300: it's top quality and it was recently recomended by a friend jazz musician. TC Eletronic equipment is among the best choices: you can not go wrong with it.

Uncle Dave, that's a fine offer, but I can't accept it since I'm from Portugal... Otherwise I'd probably accept it.
By the way, what effects processor are you using right now?

Hi José, long time no see(talk)
Do you think Tc Electronic MC-300 is better than the Lexicon 200 ?... I'm not talking about the Lexicon 500 or 550 because I don't want to spend so much money.

Luis, I honestly can't do that comparison, but some internet reviewers seem to rate TC Eletronic equipment higher than other brands (in the same price class). The M-300 unit uses the same algorithms as other much more expensive effect processors of the same brand, but with a simple-to-use interface. -- José.

My studio rack has a TC MoneXL, a TC Voice Prism, a Boss VF1, and a Boss SE50. I wanted to add the Lexicon, but rack space was limited, so I ended up using two 1/2 rack units for more versitility. I use the TC for reverb, and the 2 Boss units are great for chorus and delays. The Voice Prism is usually deicated for vocal harmonies, but can be patched into the effects buss as a 4th multi processor too.
This Lexicon is a great unit ... I just have no more room for it. I'll try to post a picture of the set-up soon.
