Part of the chord progression for the song "Sunday Morning" goes: Dm X C ... I haven't had the chance to try the chords on the kb yet, but does anyone know what the 'X' stands for ... I don't ever recall seeing that before ...

Well, IF it's what I think it is then it probably is actually a backward slash with a dot on each side (similar to a percent sign) and it means to repeat the chord, ie, play it again.

HTH,
Tom

X?
maybe the writer didn't know
If I listen to the song I hear (repeatedly) Dm7 G7 C
Sounds rather simple - of course you can play around (use substitutes) with those chords. But X? :?
