I didn't have a chance to thank you for you reply regarding the Tyros. So thank you for your response. With that said, I ordered my tyros from music123. Price I got was $2465, couldn't get it down to your price. They guy said yours was a promotional price. I also tried the group order but none was available at the time. I also got the speakers and a hard case for a good price.
As you stated, this keyboard is very similar to the psr2000. To me, this is the pro version of the 2000. They have much improved the sequencer giving it song location buttons and as you know this is very important to me. I was just a bit dissappionted with level of similarity to the 2000 which I was tired of that was why I sold it. I was expecting a whole new adventure. But in a way I was pleased with it since I was familar with the 2000 so I dove right in.
Now I noticed there is more memory in the USER portion of the keyboard, however, there is no Hard drive. It would be nice if I can get this hard drive. I have a I30 HD (Korg). Do you think I can use this drive? Do you know where I can get one?

First of all congratulations on your new Tyros. I've found it worth the price of admission to gain the improved features over the PSR2000, at least in my case.



I honestly don't know if it would work (or fit) or not. Perhaps someone else here might have a definitive answer.

I purchased an IBM TravelStar 20GB for about $80 and it works well on my Tyros. The Tyros will accept most any off the shelf laptop hard drives which meets the following criteria:

2.5 IDE
Height 12.7 mm max
40 GB max
