Love the SD-1, looking for another board to add to the ability to have a back-up and and to my set-up.
I heard Dano was impressed with the Tyros to the point it almost sounded like he prefered it to the SD-1.
Uncle Dave is a big Korg fan, with good reasons,
I've played a 8000 and 9000 and love the slickness of them but not quite sure how they would do in a live situation.
main points are hard drive, easy to pull midifiles, easy voice changing, great style, and as it goes for a good distored guitar sound, the yamaha is great, I really don't know what Ketron was thinking,
Hey wait what about Roland are they still in the arranger business?
Just curoius of what everyone thinks

UD, If I'm understanding you correctly when you say switching back and forth from Midi to Style and searching for one while the other one is playing whether it be from a Floppy or User Memory or even Preset-Styles the PSR 2000 has this ability too. If a Midi is playing on a floppy for instance, I can search simultaneously for a Style or another Midi file on the Floppy, User Memory, or Preset Style too. The nice feature with the newer PSR's and Tyros is the ability to "synch" a Style with a Midi File while the Midi is playing. If the Midi is set to lets say 120 Tempo and I pick a Style that has a default tempo of 100, without any adjustment on my part I can engage that Style to play along with the Midi file and the Style will "synch" to the Midi while they both play along together with the same Midi tempo in this instance being 120. And I as the Keyboardist can play the Keyboard along with both of them with no limitation that I'm aware of.
Best regards, Mike
