I would like to have the opinion of those who work with midi messages.
Here is my problem:
I use the korg PA80 and I have just received a Roland fantom Xa to use as a second instrument on the top of the pa80.
All the songs I play are presets in performances on the pa80. This way I recall the entire setting for the song.
Now I would like to recall a specific fantom's patch, just by selecting a performance in the pa80. In fact I would like the two keyboards to be ready to play just by selecting the right performance on the pa80.
Can the pa80 give that kind of message to the fantom?

Maybe you should try to send a program change parameter to the Fantom. Try to define a so called midi table on your Fantom that converts the incoming program change parameters into the wonted sound numbers.
Normally there should be a chapter in your manual which explains the way you have to do it. Sorry, I can't tell you more about it because I didn't ever use a midi table...

My problem seem to come from the Pa80, which I want to be the master kb.
The Fantom can receive program change code but the question is how can I produce a specific program change (cc#0-cc#32-PC) on the Pa80?
I didn't find information about this on the manual.
Any help welcome
