I think Paul Shafer's kbd. work and short solo on the Blues Brothers version of "Groove Me" makes me want to be permanantly attached to a B3 and Leslie. Hearing Felix Cavalieri play the beginning of "Lonely Too Long" live on stage really perks my ears up(sounds good on my psr2k too).

What's your favorite keyboard sound bite?

Steve Winwood's "Gimmie some lovin" - It's a classic riff that I want to play each time I hear the right organ patch. "Whiter Shade of Pale" too... for the quiet moments

Rhodes? How bout Stevie Wonder's "Livin for the city", or Herbie Hancock's "Camelion"?

Clav - "Superstition" or "Higher Ground"(Stevie!)...no surprise - Stevie Pioneered the instument !

Piano - "Feelin Alright" Joe Cocker, or "Rootbeer Rag" - Billy Joel.

I found and use a lot of riffs from this site.
www.8notes.com

Click on the riffs for the instrument you want. This will take you to the instrument page. Click on popular riffs. This will take you to the riffs page. clik on riff lessons. You will show the music and play a demo of many popular riffs.

Certainly not all B3 but among my favorites...

1. Synth / Organs: Karn Evil 9 - Keith Emerson ( ELP )

2. Organ : Foreplay - Boston

3. Pianos / EPs : Soundchaser - Rick Wakeman and Yes
