Can users of either or all models seperate the hype from reality on this one. Screenshots and spec sheets seem to show all models are the same as far as their Timing Adjust and Swing % features are concerned. Some people maintain that the mystical "feel" of the earlier machines was lost when Akai released the MPC 2000 sans the Lynn logo. As, arguably, the feel of these machines is a major selling point over conventional samplers I'd like to have an informed opinion before parting with the folding green stuff.
Thanks, and let the games begin....

hey what's up? i have an mpc2000 and i am completely impressed with it.this machine allows plenty of flexibility with your seqs and sampling.i use to own the akai asq10 which is the sequencing half of the infamous mpc60.although both machines are awesome the mpc2000 blows it away comparitively both machines have the same feel but the processing speed on the mpc2000 is much quicker and more accurate.and if you've never used either one before the mpc2000 funtions are very user friedly.go for it you won't be disappointed. the NEGATIVE mc
