Is anyone using the Altec Lansing 621 speakers on their keyboard? If so, what do you think of the sounds produced by a trumpet or vocals? I read a review where it said they sounded a little muddied(?). Any opinions on these speakers will be greatly appreciated.

Peter,
Have a look at this thread: http://www.synthzone.com/ubbs/Forum37/HTML/005789.html

We discussed them there.
Evangelical and I both have the 621's on our boards. I don;t think they are muddy at all.

I have recently plugged my KN-6500 into a set of A/L 621 spoeakers along with my Dell Computer which is plugged into the spare input on the Sub-Base. You will find no other speakers anywhere near the quality of the 621's, and there absolute low price is also un-beatable. I was about to purchase the new KN-7000, but the 6500 sounds so sweet and rich, with this speaker system, I no longer am considering that purchase, at least at this time. ARJ

Thanks Terry!

I knew I'd seen a thread someplace but couldn't remember where.

Thanks Arthur! I have a KN6500, too, and really like it. Glad to hear the speakers work fine for you. We have a CompUSA store in town that has the 621's for $114.00. Guess I'll go ahead and pick up a set.

I figured I'd get better information from Synthzone members than from reviews printed in magazines or on the net.

Thanks again!

Peter

Peter,
$114.00 is a steal, I just paid $150. from Circuit City last week.

Some web sites have them for as low as $85 plus $20 shipping = $105, ... Peter getting them from CompUSA may be a little more $$$, but less hassle .....

Squeak_D,
Why not buy these instead of the Rolands?
Wait till I pay off my Visa.
