If I make a change to the one touch settings of an internal
style and then save the settings, does it save the whole style
as well? If that is the case, just making a change to the
one touch settings and trying to save it, will take a relatively
large amount of memory in the flash rom or floppy, since it is
saving all the style information? A more logical choice would
be to save the one touch settings only?

I am interested in knowing this since I am looking at models
with relatively little flash rom and don't want to use it all
up if I change the OTS on 20 styles!

Thanks

Sam Safran

On the PSR2000 you must indeed save the entire style. Not so on the 8000, 9000 and Pro.

The OTS is, indeed, saved in the style. So, on the PSR-2000, if you change the OTS settings, you need to save that style and you can save it to the USER memory or to a floppy disk. If you are only interested in changing voices, you can save your settings to a registration file which uses the internal style and includes whatever voice settings or changes you want. A registration file will be much smaller than the style file.
