Hi,

I am having problem with temp when using my sd1 as the master and the cakewalk pro9 as slave or vice versa. What happens is the playback or recording the tempo keeps changing every second to different values like 40 to 155 to 145 and so on during the song is playing.

Am I supposed to turn something off so the slave follows the master's exact tempo without changing.

Thanks so much in advance.

Cakewalk has some options (cant remember if under Global or Project settings) to adjust midi time clock synchronisation; it defaults to internal. I've never actually played with this so I dont really know what happens with the other options!

Has the SD1 similarly got options to determine the precise nature of the Midi Time Code (MTC) and Clock functions?

Sev 01,

Under the MIDI Utility menu, you should set the SD1 clock to EXTERNAL to avoid clashes wiht tempo timing from your external sequencer.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

AJ
