My experiences have been good. I bought a computer and several other items. You do have to thoroughly research the seller and buyer.

Dan, I have bought and sold many items on Ebay, including keyboards, with excellent results. As Don says, check into the feedback.

Same here. My wife even bought a car from the east coast on e-bay. It was pretty scarry at first, but we got an awsome deal.

But as Don already said: research the seller first.

Good Question
I just sold (last night) -(through a third party) my Casio 701. It didn`t bring what I wanted but I`m satisfied (now I got to get paid). I`ve been looking for a camera, but , I`m not sure they start out cheap but end up almost the same as you could buy at "CC or Best Buy" so don`t now. I think if it`s somthing big (unless you get a great deal) I might be tempted to spend the extra bucks just so I could return it if it didn`t work. 95% of the deals I've done on EBay have been great. I only had one bad experience. I bought a "new" PSR9000 from "dealer closeout". The keyboard arrived filthy, cigarette burned, smelling of smoke, covered with white stuff (fire extinguisher material), with a broken display and many buttons not working. Good think I went through PayPal. I lost $230 on the deal, but not my entire $1600.

I got a nice stereo 75 watt powered mixer for $100 that works great. I also just got a Tobishiba HD for my Korg i30 for $29 and that includs shipping.

I love ebay, buy stuff on there all the time. Most of it with full satisfaction.
But read the small print and do research on the item you are planning to buy. Sometimes prices for used, previous generation equipment are higher then new price for the same stuff at a dealer sale.
Planning on going through my attic and garage this fall and sell a bunch of stuff on ebay.
