memories of the old yamaha organs . did the same thing in'95 with an yamaha m55 organ. took it out of its case and stand disconnected the pedals and made it very portable. alot of rockers did the same with
the hammond b3.

I had a low end Wersi organ -- took the legs and pedals off to make it protable for my jobs. It had all the bells whistles. It was the beginning and not many options.

It's great to finally see some really useful innovations now. Things have been kinda stagnant for a while in the organ/arranger world.

Looks good.
Unfortunately it will probably not make it to the UK, Europe or USA, as Yamaha refuse to export organs/electones to those countries.
The Stagea organ/electone replaced the EL900, but it is not sold in the above countries, the ones you here artists play, they personally had to import from Japan/Asia.

Stacking keyboards has always been problematic, for me. A 2-tier keyboard is a GREAT idea using today's synthesis techniques. And pedals too? Wow!

Off the record, it has been said that Yamaha would bring the Stagea or any other new Electone to the UK if they could guarantee sales of 10,000 a year, which in this day and age is not going to happen, the same applies to other countries, so if you want one you will have to see which country gives you the best import price.
BTW, Wersi, Thomas, Orla (Technote in the USA) + a few others have always produced these types of instruments, this is because being low volume manufactures they do not have the overheads of the big boys. The downside to this is the fact that because they are low volume manufactures, they cannot get the big discounts on parts that the big boys can get, so in most cases they are more expensive.
