I just thought you guys would be interested to know that the long anticipated day has arrived. I just got a call from the QC dept. and Tyros is ready to ship. They will go out maybe as soon as Monday. I will pick up mine today (hopefully).

Hi Steve: Wow, congratulations on getting a Tyros too.

Curious just 'how many' units Yamaha USA received from Japan in this first allocation shipment. and just how many are going out in your first shipment to the US dealers next week. I assume whatever the number, that they will be 'rationed out' so each dealer will initially recieve only a few units, with the balance of their orders fullfilled in later shipments? I'm hoping mine comes soon enough so I can use it for at least a few of the upcoming holiday gigs.
