How do you access your tyros HD from your PC ? I've installed the driver into my XP workstation but haven't had much success as of yet... Any suggestions welcomed

Claude,
I had the same 'problem'.
Connect the PC and Tyros using a USB cable, switch ON the Tyros while holding the (blue) music-finder button. A few seconds later your PC will recognize the Tyros HDD....ready.

That's interesting. I do have the USB connection established between the PC and Tyros but I never thought that holding the music finder button would do the trick.
Thanks Roel, I'll try that tonight...

I'm just curious, how do you Tyros user organize your files ?
Do you put one folder for midi, one for styles, one for registrations ?

I created several folders because the max number of items (files) per folder is 249.

Styles folders organized by 'type' eg. Latin, country, bigband, rock'n roll, ballad, dance, disco.

One folder for registrations (works great!)

An extra folder that contains a copy of the User(flash)disk..... just in case.

The MIDI-folder contains many subfolders ordered by artist/make.

After the Tyros got organized I took a full copy to PC and burned a DVD (backup)
Transfer thru the USB link takes a while, but it is worth it!!
