I just opened my new CTK-533. I am using MusicTime software. I used the midi cable to attach the CTK-533 to my sound card in hopes that I would be able to use the keyboard to put notes into my MusicTime score. Alas nothing happened. I am very new to midi. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks for your help.

I'm not a big midi user either but maybe you have to assign your channel(s) first
