I have a WK-1630. I play it through a Peavey60 and Squire10 out through the head jack. I have played my board for about four years now. I have been very happy with it, until I had played a Roland E-600 and really liked the organ and rhyums on the Roland. But now I see the WK-3000 and WK-3700. My question is. Are the sounds in the new WK's alot better and are the rhyums alot better? I play alot of Doo-Wop and Country Classic I just haven't gotten the country two step and balland rhyums I wanted or the polka rhyums. How will the 3700 conpare with the PSR 2000? Please give me some insight or help. Thank You

Yes, the new 3500/3000 and newer 3700/3200's are much better (IMO). You can take a midi file, and with some work...change it into a rhythm. The advanced tones are very good, and the organ section has some great features. Check out our other Casio forum, for mp3 files posted by users. http://www.originalz.com/casio/casio_bbs/

If there's a Radio Shack store near you that has it in stock, check out their model MD-4072. It's basically the Casio WK-3200, minus the power supply, and is currently (until March 4th) on sale for $199.99. I doubt you'll find a better deal for the dollar at this time.

Thank you for your help. I am going to the Radio Shack now. Not sure what they carry. I am in Northern Michigan not much in Music stores up here and what stores we have don't do anything in keys. Does the 3200 and the other board have a much better selection in rhyums than my 1630 and how close do they come to the Yamaha or Roland in the organ sound? It is really hard when you can't hear them. Keep the help coming I really appreciate anything everyone tells me. I am really new at this and walking on thin ice. I just want to get the best sound I can with a very limited budget. I do everything for free and just love playing and watching the folks enjoying themselves.
