When I make a program sound in my X1 sometimes what happens is that even though the Pianist button is NOT lit, and the arranger is working, the sound still plays across the entire keyboard (including LHS), which is obviously not a good thing.
This evening I was working on a strings Program Sound, made up of 4 sounds from the same source. I had:
sound- strings strings strings strings octave- -- -12 +12 -24
then on the last page of the editting I had specified that the +12 strings play from C0-G4, and the -24 Strings play from A3-C6.
when I started playing the sound I noticed that again the strings are sounding on the LHS, but not all of them. After testing it was the +12 strings is the only one playing on the LHS, so to solve the issue I went and changed the keymap from C0 to F2 where my split point is, but if I want to use the strings in Pianist Mode, I will miss the +12 on the LHS.
Can you tell me what is going and why is this happening and how to fix it in a better way than my work around?
Thanks
