Hi,

My music teacher has a Genesys, sometimes it crashes, she wants to update it, and I know there's an OS update, but the only site I have found where you can download it is the Gem Club site, and you need to be a member to download the update.
So is there any place where I can download the latest update for free?
I mean, the least thing GEM could do is to put their latest OS update on their site for people to download .
If anyone knows where to get it 4 free I would be very grateful.

I have have the download for the new operating system somewhere. Its a pretty big file if I remember but will be glad to email it to you. What version of the Software do you have now? You will have to burn the upgrade onto a CD in a image format. It's a little tricky and you will probably need a program like Nero do it.

How old is your Genesys, I'm curious why the crashing mine has been as stable as a rock both before & after upgrading.

The Gem Club does have a fee I think it is around $70 yearly and they do have all the upgrades and a bunch of files for downloading.

Email me, and I will send you the link to download the OS update. All registered user are automatically sent the updates via US mail however, so your teacher should have the latest software.
