I seem to recall that you're using a USB numeric pad with your laptop and OMB. If so, please tell me which one (brand & model).

Thanks

Hi Charles,
I just bought a really cheap n'nasty little keypad on Aussie Ebay. I think the keypad cost me $1 and the postage cost me about $13 AUD from Hong Kong. Brand New.

The only ones I had seen in the local shops were the Targus at $99 AUD. I didn't want to spend that much , just in case using a pad didn't work with omb.
The company I bought mine from no longer trades on ebay. When it breaks down eventually, I will get a better quality one, not that there's anything wrong with mine.

best wishes
Rikki

This is a more cost effective method of accessing the fills and variations then buying a 76 note keyboard.

Hi Vquestor,
your keypad has one additional key that mine hasn't got the "000".

Were you able to assign the majority of your keys to a function?

The only one that definately didn't appear to do anything at all was the " * " key.

best wishes

Vquestor's suggestion for a numeric keypad seems like a good choice. Check out this vendor's price. They apparently have more than a few in stock.

(I've bought from them before. They're very reputable.)

Vquestor

I placed an order with Provantage tonight for the Belkin numeric keypad. Thanks for your input.
