A few days ago I met someone who told me he
did not like keyboardmusic. What did he mean
with keyboardmusic? Does it exist?

He is probably referring to electronic music. Maybe he's a purist, or maybe he's just into acoustical tones. Who knows - but the term "keyboard music" is WAY too large to catagorize in any one genre.

I also heard someone saying this some time ago. I think that they refer to the synthy music. But sometimes it's quite hard to hear when it's an arranger or a real live band.

But the synthy sounds, that must be 'Keyboardmusic'.

By Keyboard Music, they may mean that it is Scored with just Melody & Chords as per busker music. Myself I always purchase Organ or Piano Music which includes Chord Symbols, but is more interesting to read giving left hand & Bass staff for those who can read these.

When the music is only heared it is impossi-
bel to say if it is synthiemusic or accou-
stical for 95% of the listeners.At least
when it is a good player. Therefore I think
one can not speak from typical keyboard-
music.This is my humble opinion.
