The first thread was getting too long ...
Anyway, a friend tells me he has COX Cable (our local provider) DSL for $25 a month ... Now COX doesn't even acknowledge DSL on their website ... it's all digital cable or sat from $40 per and higher... so I call their customer service and guess what ?!? ... DSL at $25 per month, first 6 months at $15 !!! ... They have to install because apparently it runs through their cable line (not the phone line) and they have to undo some kind of digital filter that is on the line right now ... ETA next Friday between 3 - 5 PM ...
