Can anyone help? I will not be home for a few days and my CD is at home. But if anyone has this recording, I need to know where the Break comes in. Here is the lyric. Where is the Break? Or is there more than one in his record?
I recall the Break being his guitar instrumental playing the Verse progression. Is it after the 2nd chorus? In other words, what is the structure of the song, as recorded?
I am recording this song but I want to lay it down as recorded.
“ON THE ROAD AGAIN” – Willie Nelson
[ VERSE 1: ] On the road again Just can't wait to get on the road again The life I love is makin' music with my friends And I can't wait to get on the road again
[ VERSE 2: ] On the road again Goin' places that I've never been Seein' things that I may never see again And I can't wait to get on the road again
[ CHORUS: ] On the road again Like a band of gypsies we go down the highway We're the best of friends Insistin’ that the world be turnin' our way And our way... is
[ VERSE 1 – REPEAT ]
[ CHORUS – REPEAT ]
[ VERSE 1 – REPEAT ] And I can't wait to get on the road again

O.k. He sings the "chorus", then the "bridge", (where it goes up to the fourth), then the chorus again, then the ride, or break, then another bridge, another chorus and tag. DonM

Okay, thanks. But I am confused. Let me re-label these sections and post here. I'll call you.
