Basicly, I just want to load a .wav file into the PSR 7000. On the demo disk, where you have got all the folders located on the floppy disk (i.e REG, SET, PAD etc), there is a folder called WAV. Inside this folder there are speech samples in a .wav format, for some reason these do not play on the PC, but they load up on the PSR 7000. I was planning to use the demo disk as a guide, and use an example on how yamaha loaded these .wav files into the keyboard, but it seems as though they have been encoded the .wav file in a different format, as this will not play on the PC? I will try a normal microsoft PCM .wav file, but I think I will need a converter for this special yamaha format?
I know the yamaha PSR 7000 does not have a built in sampler to sample your own sounds, but it must be able to load some samples, hance the demo disk.
